Late summer and early fall is definitely fly season here. We get some super aggressive flies here that love to attack your face, so I was super happy to have the opportunity to get this BUGG OFF Indoor Electric Bug Zapper. I plugged it in and within minutes it was zapping those pesky flies. Seems like every few minutes there’s that beautiful sound again that’s music to my ears. It’s a real sanity saver. I would highly recommend this BUGG OFF Bug Zapper!

This zapper is very effective. It made it more comfortable enjoying the patio this past summer months. We noticed a significant decrease in insects flying around the area. This comes with extra bulb which is nice. I will have to get another one for the front yard.

This is a medium sized bug zapper that needs to be plugged in. The light is very prominent. This zapper is also easy to operate. There is no doubt that this is working because these flies hit it and the sound can be quite stunning. The zapper works. It came with 2 extra bulbs and a chain so you can hang it. I keep it sitting in my kitchen near the fruits and vegetables. So far, it is doing what I needed it to do.

I decided to get the BUGG OFF Indoor Electric Bug Zapper because I was fed up with the absurd number of mosquitoes bothering me when I'm outside. I set this up near our sitting area in the garage, and it made a significant difference. I only got one mosquito bite, which is a massive improvement.

The satisfying zap sound brought back some childhood memories, and I can proudly say that I'm now the mosquito destroyer of the area. I'm so impressed with this bug zapper that I'm considering getting more for other places around my home. Plus, the added bonus of a 5-year warranty and two free replacement bulbs is a great deal.

This mosquito zapper is just like any other one that you find on Amazon with slightly different build construction. It uses the typical black light bulbs that you can find anywhere because it fits in many other machines. They do throw in extra two bulbs inside of the box. Unit is rated for about 800 ft and the zapping action works excellent killing the bugs. Machine is pretty sturdy but looks a little bit bulky compared to other zappers out there in the same shape.

Changing the bulb is a little bit more involving compared to other units because you have to use a screwdriver while other units you can just pop out the mesh and change them

I am using this bug zapper on my screened-in back porch to take care of the pesky insects that seem to make it inside. This is a nice-sized bug zapper that runs off of standard electricity from a wall socket. It has a nice, black look, and the zapper is streamlined and is not noticeable and does not take up a lot of room in my areas. When plugged in, the light has a nice blue glow which helps to attract the insects. The zapping parts are well protected and do not cause a risk to your hands. What I really like about this product is that it is easy to clean, comes with a warranty, and has additional bulbs to replace any broken or ineffective bulbs. I had this plugged in for one night and it destroyed many insects and gave me peace of mind that this item will zap the bugs before they bite me and my family. I recommend this product. I look forward to my continued use of this bug zapper.

So close to 5 stars but I had to give 4. I like it! It works great! Comes with extra bulbs!! Only thing is I did not like how to mount it. It came with clips that you have to slide up and hopefully get them on without it slipping back down in. Really wish it would have came with a better mounting option instead of the chain thingy. It's not a deal breaker but having something mounted sturdy so the wind does not blow it back and forth. Still a good buy.

I can really say this is the best indoor bug zapper I have owned, and I have owned a few.
I have woods all around my house that are very close, just out the door, so this gives me a big problem with the insects, and especially gnats.
First off, this really attracts the bugs, very bright and even with the light on just above it the gnats just keep flying into it and getting zapped.
The unit is very light and comes with two extra bulbs, but being light it is thin only 3 3/4in deep, so it does sometimes pop the little bugs outside of the very easy to remove and empty tray, not a problem to me.
It is the perfect size to me 15 1/4in wide 11in tall and 3 3/4in deep, so a really large light source to attract the bugs and like I said earlier it starts doing this very quickly, also a great night light.
You can off course use it outside on dry days or nights or under a roof outside.
You will need to be close to a electrical outlet because the cord is short like the rest but at only 20watts of usage an extension cord should not be a problem.
Yes, if you have a flying insect problem or have woods close buy this is a very good choice.
I would recommend to family and friends.

I picked this up for my garage as I didn't think it would also kill fruit flies and gnats upon first inspection, boy was I wrong. I gotta say I have a number of tiny LITTLE fruit flies flying around my house. Landing on my head, landing on my dinner plate, take a swat of them and I always miss. I plugged this mighty Bugg off 800 square foot Indoor bug zapper and I gotta say I was impressed with it. Its not even dark yet and probably have 8-10 dead fruit flies within an hour. I should have bought this a long time ago. I always noticed them inside restaurants that I worked at and had no idea it would work so well. The grids where it kills the bugs are large but I guess with the 3500v it kills them just passing through! Perfect, just what I needed and wanted for an issue at my home. No more gnats landing on me and or going up my nose.

Build quality appears to be very good, nice solid construction, not cheapo plastic. Comes with 2 extra florescent lamps should they wear out and has a simple switch to turn it on and off when needed. The cord is fairly short and wish it came with a 6 foot cord or 2 meter cord instead of roughly 3 ft.

It would also be great if they offered an LED version of this to save power. Other than those two recommendations and suggestions for version two I am loving my new bug zapper and it killing all those pesky and annoying gnats. 10 stars if possible! Highly recommend!

This is a very nice indoor solution to all those flying insects that get inside. It can be hung up with a chain against a wall, or placed on a table, which is what I am doing. I just plugged it in and turned it on with the switch on the side and the two lamps came on. It is quiet. Unless it is zapping a bug you don't hear anything and even then the noise is not overly loud.

This is nice sized without being too big. It sits on my side table easily and resists getting knocked over very well. I turn it on when I am going to bed and let it run all night. My apartment has an upstairs living room/office and a downstairs bedroom/kitchen.

I have this placed on a table that is next to the top of the stairs. Since placing this here I have had zero pesky mosquitoes in the upstairs. Since the table it is on is near the top of the staircase, I had hoped both areas of the apartment would benefit.

Unfortunately, downstairs is not yet free of mosquitoes. This makes sense if you consider the downstairs doors are how those pests get in my apartment. This time of year, any open door lets them fly inside.

Although there is access to the upstairs through the stairway, I am not sure the mosquitoes are following my plan for them. I am going to be switching this unit between upstairs and downstairs for now.

I probably will soon get another unit since the spaces are not open to each other enough for this to work well for both. I don't consider this a fault of the zapper but rather an issue of the open space of my apartment. I know this zapper works well when it is in an open area where the mosquitoes are active.

Easy to connect; kills the bugs instantly.

I use it outside under a covered porch and it kills a lot of flies and mosquitoes.

Amazing product i know its for indoors but i decided to put it outside hanging and zapped along of flies haven't had any problems highly recommend this product

I tried a few other fly zappers but they weren't effective. We got a Liba but it kept "bugging out" and turning off randomly. Finally we got bugg off and WOW!! These flies are in love with it. I've had to change the trey out multiple times a day at first because they were so attracted to the light it gives off. I'm very impressed and pleased with this product. Highly recommend!

Edited to add; almost a year later and this thing is still going STRONG! It stays plugged in all day, every single day. We’ve never had to replace a bulb yet, none of the wiring has shorted on us and, still zaps the crap out of a ton of bugs!

My husband and I have a farm and the flies this year were absolutely horrible! We tried so many different methods to get rid of them or at least make it somewhat tolerable to be outside or sit in the attached garage at the table to chat with each other or family and NOTHING worked! I came across this bug zapper one evening and figured what did I have to lose? Tons of flies. That’s what I had to lose. The amount of flies this bug zapper eliminated in just one night even was hard to believe! What made it even better was it was easy to install, and has a cleaning tray that makes it easy to clean and dump the carcasses. This purchase was WELL worth it. Not one single regret with this purchase!

Nice little bug killer. Not huge but strong enough for a bedroom or small living space. I like that its chemical free and safe to run overnight.
